St. Thomas

Known for luxury, St. Thomas has all the yachting and sport fishing you could desire. The capital, Charlotte Amalie (a-mall-ya) is one of the top cruise-ship destinations in the Caribbean. The island has everything from elegant, gourmet dining and duty-free high end shopping to some of the best beaches in the world. Magens Bay is top of the list when it comes to the USVI's beaches, but be prepared to pay approximately $5 per adult as it's by far the most popular.

St. John

Ideal for honeymooners and nature lovers, St. John has more than 7,000 acres of dedicated park land. The beaches are pristine and offer a stunning backdrop to any destination wedding. Virgin Islands National Park is also home to Trunk Bay, the most popular beach in St. John. The National Park maintains an underwater snorkeling trail there with underwater signs that list educational information.

St. Croix

St. Croix is one of the only places in the region that divers can explore a wall, reef, wreck, and pier in the same day. Go out for some once-in-a-lifetime diving and then head over to the Cruzan Rum Distillery or Captain Morgan Visitor Center to wet your whistle. They give tours of the facilities as well as tastings, but be sure to check tour hours on their websites as the recent hurricanes have altered business hours.
